We spent all day yesterday exploring Denmark and and the surrounding area. So much to see in that area, we would need more days. Lots of galleries and artisan places.
Went out to Shelley Beach in the West Cape Howe National Park. A stunning spot and good salmon fishing area. Very secluded. We then visited the “Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk”. Great to see. Huge “giant” trees. Many of the trees were over 400 years old. The Tree Top Walk, for me who hates heights, was very scary. It moves !!!! But worth doing.
Tomorrow we start heading towards Perth. Saturday night is Beck’s “Hens” night. Beck and Steve’s wedding is on the 4th of March at “Little Creatures Brewery” in Fremantle. We are looking forward to it. It will be fun meeting more of Beck’s friends at the hens night.

Your new caravan cover has arrived! Safely stowed till we see you…. in a few days! 🙂
Wow! That treetop walk would be great. How long is it? I recently read somewhere it went from Walpole to Denmark but just know that cannot be right. I’m guessing it is between Walpole and Denmark somewhere. Is that right. You sure are getting a great collection of pics. Dad looked through your blog yesterday and enjoyed it. Then I read from Victor Harbour to now to Thel – enlarging the photos so she could see them. She was most interested ini it all. Glad you are having such a great time.
Hi Di,
Thank you so much for taking the time to show Dad and Thel. He will love my last post reminding him of something that happened on the Nullarbor when he was crossing it with Mum. Also added a picture to the “Albany” post of the war memorial there that he would remember.
xx Ros
Hi Gang,
Sorry, I check on the blog all the time but forget to post comments. I get so absorbed in your notes and photos, they are great. When I opened it this morning Denmark came up which in my pre coffee foggy morning mood confused the heck out of me. I had never heard of Denmark in Australia. Albany interested Eric as his father was stationed there for training before going off to World War II. They were actually in training for the Middle East but ended up in New Guinea. Good luck with the Hen’s night Ros. And all the very best to the happy couple for the wedding. M
You must be in your element Rozzy taking all of those photos. I have camera envy. Who would believe that a desert could be so close to an ancient forest?! Thanks for showing so much of this beautiful land to us.
I want to be there with you. Love the short haircut Mal. Will be perfect by the time the big wedding comes around. Bet you’re both really excited. Can’t wait to see the wedding pics. Please give my love to Beck when you see her and wish her all the best for the big day and ever more. X Nic and Steve
Hi Nic,
I will pass on your best wishes and definitely be adding some pictures to a post soon.\Say hi to Steve.

Hi Ros and Mal – absolutely gorgeous photos – could not just have a look and not tell you! I often look at your blog but usually am in a rush but these are just too good to leave without saying so! All good at home – Mutts and Salem are well and happy – and I have to say that Salem seeks me out these days for a sit on my lap and a pat so I must be doing something right! Probably feeding him! ha. Have fun – lotsa love from Number 33. xxx
Thanks Jen,
Salem…what a turncoat…he will do anything for food !!!
Still raining there eh!
We have been so lucky with the weather.
I talked to Gloria yesterday. They sounded well.
Thanks for everything.
Give Salem and Mutley a kiss and hug…well maybe just a hug from us.
xx Ros
