Well all I can say is that Mal and I agree with the way the French respect and love their dogs.
Yes, dogs go everywhere, restaurants (even Michelin Star), cafes, bars, government offices, hospitals, shops………. wherever humans go, dogs go !!!!!
All shapes and sizes… Molly would love it as she is a well behaved cafe dog in Australia.

I think it is similar in Italy, especially after you get out of Rome. I remember being very taken aback although pleasantly surprised to reach my seat on the train from Pisa to Rome to find a dog in my compartment. Although less pleasant as the fact his owner had taken up residence in my seat ?and my friend had just taken her dog from Sienna to Milano when she went on holiday.
