Historic waterwheel Augusta. The waterwheel was built in 1895 to supply water to the builders of the lighthouse and later to the lighthouse keepers cottages. The wheel is now encrusted in calcified lime.

    1. Hi Jean, Yes, we got lucky when we saw her with the newborn. We turned the car around and went back to get the photo. It is times like this, that I appreciated the extra lens that allows me to get close-up shots without being too close and disturbing whatever I am taking a photo of. Look forward to meeting for coffee next week.
